ABOUT DOCUMENTS BY DESIGN

Documents by Design is a graphic and web design studio owned by Catherine Watson. I'm usually based in Auckland but can quite often be found hiding out in our “barn” at Horopito, a small settlement on the side of Mt Ruapehu.  

My wealth of experience was gained from working for design agencies and printers in both New Zealand and London with a range of clients from cottage industries to large international corporates including HSBC and Standard & Poors. I was trained by some very knowledgeable specialists with exacting standards in the print industry and as a result, have extensive knowledge and my standards are high.

Nowadays I specialise in supporting small and medium-sized businesses and start-ups to market themselves in the best possible way, often on a limited budget. Developing a great designer-client relationship I can devise and implement the best design-print-digital-web solutions for your business.

When not out to make the visual world a better place one design at a time, I can be found taking off on an impulsive walk, experimenting in the kitchen, at the gym or supporting my daughters at a gymnastics competition.
